Every year, hundreds of children from migrant communities, who come to Goa to make a livelihood, are deprived of stable education, healthcare, and dignity. At Anand Vihar, we provide a safe, inclusive learning space where children can grow, learn, and dream.

Founder & Director

Smita Patil has over 13 years of experience in the education sector, and has had the privilege of working with various NGOs, leading programs, and overseeing their implementation across the state.
Her passion lies in working with children and making a positive impact in their lives.

Khushashri Sawant

Khushashri Sawant

Director

Khushashri has a bachelor's degree in English and Psychology. They have worked with youth and children in various settings for the past five years, and believe that a better world is possible through education.
Beyond their work, they find joy in nature walks, creative projects, cinema, and learning new skills.

Geeta Hodge

Educator

Geeta Laxman Hodge is currently pursuing BA in Child Psychology at Shivaji University, Kolhapur.
She is very passionate about her work as a primary school teacher and educator. She loves to interact with children, travelling, arts and crafts, and reading books.

Communications Manager

Shubham is currently pursuing his MBA from JBIMS, Mumbai.
He has a passion for exploring new ideas and learning through shared experiences. He believes that great things happen through collaboration and support.

Pravin has over ten years of experience in the Administration department. He has graduated from Mumbai University.
